The First Day of Tour: Team Ohio had left that morning (accompanied by many sad good-bye’s). Our team stayed behind in Winona Lake and Winona Lake GBC was the first church we ministered to. The first day was spent mainly doing manual labor on CE National’s property right outside of Campus.

 

We also hung out with the youth group on Thursday and helping with a soccer camp for Pre-K through 6th grade put on by the church, did manual labor at various locations around Winona Lake, and of course shared the Light of Jesus with people as much as we could. We were still learning on the road though about how to represent Christ and treat each other as well as other people, both believers and non-believers.

 

First Host Homes: Stephen, Ritter and I slept at the Avey’s house. They were one of the sweetest families we had met and it was really nice to sleep on a bed after a week on the floor. We stayed with them for two nights. The first one they took us out on the lake to go tubing!

 

Grace Village: Our team put on two programs at Grace Village Retirement Home on Friday (6.26) before leaving for our next destination.
